Live Streaming: This Week Preview
This week we have some huge football matches available on the live stream service, with the standout fixture being on Saturday evening, when the first leg of the Copa Libertadores Final between Argentinian rivals River Plate v Boca Juniors takes place. River Plate lifted the trophy as recently as 2015, but Boca Juniors have gone 11 years without success in this competition; the last time they lifted the trophy was in 2007, ending a fine sequence of 4 titles in 8 years. Carlos Tevez was an integral part of the winning side in 2003, scoring 5 times in 9 games, but after rejoining the club this year following a year in the Chinese Super League he’s expected to be on the bench for this one. They’ll look to Darío Benedetto, the man who scored 3 of their 4 semi-final goals, to fire them to the title.
That match is immediately preceded by action from the German Bundesliga, and the first Klassiker of the season when Borussia Dortmund host Bayern Munich. Dortmund currently lead the way in the table, enjoying a 4-point cushion over Monchengladbach and Bayern. They’re undefeated in the league this season and have notched an incredible 30 goals from their 10 games so far. Paco Alcácer has been a sensational signing on loan from Barcelona, with the Spanish striker scoring 7 goals in just 5 Bundesliga appearances. Bayern meanwhile have had a turbulent start to the campaign by their standards, winning just 2 of their last 6 league games.
The live stream service also have coverage from Wolverhampton of the Grand Slam of Darts, with the group stages getting underway on Saturday afternoon at 1pm. Michael Van Gerwen is favourite to take the title, and odds-on quotes are justified given he’s lifted the trophy three years running. He’s in Group A alongside Jonny Clayton, Joe Murnan and Gary Robson, a group he should have no problem topping. Group G is potentially the one where drama will be greatest, with former BDO World Champions Scott Mitchell and Stephen Bunting grouped with Martin Schindler, who represented Germany in the Quarter Final of the 2017 World Cup, and 2017 Champions League winner Mensur Suljovic.
