Sunderland vs Tottenham prediction: 2
Sunderland are in a big mess and Dick Advocaat is the bookies favourite to be the next manager to lose his job. In the same time, captain Lee Catermole has giving a damning assessment of performances so far his season which can’t do much for team morale.
The Black Cats have been a shambles at the back, conceding 10 goals in their 4 games and are routed to the bottom of the league.
Tottenham are still awaiting their first Premier League win of the campaign, but they have had their fair share of the play in their away games. At Leicester, they may have only drawn, but Spurs hogged 56% of the play and came up with 6 shots on goal to Leicester’s 3. Meanwhile against Man Utd, they enjoyed half of the play at Old Trafford, losing only because of an error in midfield which led to an unfortunate own goal.
Harry Kane’s yet to score in the Premier League this season but he had a great international week for England scoring 2 goals in the Three Lions 2 European qualifying matches.

Schalke vs Mainz prediction: 1
Having thus far failed to build-on a convincing opening-day victory at Werder Bremen, Schalke now go in search of their first home victory. The Royal Blues have only picked up one point from a possible 6 in the league, drawing 1-1 with Darmstadt and losing 3-0 away at Wolfsburg in their last 2 matches.
Captain Benedikt Höwedes could return to start at centre-back.
Mainz have won 2 on the bounce since slumping to a surprise defeat to Ingolstadt on the opening day.
The injuries of Fabian Frei and Jairo could cost them stability and creativity though.

Ajaccio vs Monaco prediction: 2
Monaco need to focus on the league now as they have to bounce back after the PSG loss and cannot afford not to get all 3 points on Sunday.
Newly promoted Ajaccio are bottom of the table with just a point so far (picked up against fellow promoted side Troyes) and they have been conceding too many goals this season. Even more significantly they’ve yet to score.
