Early Odds and Betting Tips for the 2025-26 Premier League

Premier League Odds 2025-2026

‣ A look at some early odds and betting tips ahead of the next Premier League season.

The Premier League season is just a couple of months away. Only 82 days after Liverpool lifted the trophy at Anfield — the club’s first Premier League title since 2020 — the action will finally return. And we can’t wait.

Everyone knows that pre-season can be a tad boring, though, so we’ve decided to take a look at some early betting odds ahead of the new campaign. There’s some premium tips thrown on top, too, allowing you to potentially make some smart moves with your chosen bookie before August 15 arrives.

2025-26 Premier League: Early Odds and Betting Tips

Premier League betting is bigger than ever.

It’s the main force behind the British betting “boom” going on at the moment, with the total amount bet on football having risen 71% between 2015 and 2023, now sitting at around £9.6 billion.

Simply put, people love to bet on the Premier League, whether it’s Super Sunday or Monday Night Football. Some have even started taking it so seriously that they’re using the BetWasp #1 rated tool, which is a football betting software app that tells you what bets to make and the EV percentages. Yes, that’s right: punters are now relying on software to help them place bets.

In addition to this, many punters are still relying on classic tips, which we’ve got right here. If you’re a Premier League club supporter, make sure to check them out.

✅ Liverpool to Win the Premier League: 15/8

After a storming debut season, new Liverpool manager Arne Slot will once again be looking to win the league. Based on current bookie odds — most bookies currently have them listed at 15/8 — they’re by far the favourites to do it, too. We’ve definitely got our money on Liverpool, having just strengthened with the record signing of £116m Florian Wirtz along with £29.5 million Jeremie Frimpong. They’ve arguably got the strongest squad in the league now and all the momentum in the world behind them. Plus, Slot might be looking to bring in a few extra signings on top, so all signs point to yet another Liverpool title win (that is, of course, if Manchester City or Arsenal don’t spoil the party for them).

✅ Newcastle Make the Top Four: 5/4

Eddie Howe has transformed Newcastle since joining them back in 2021. They’ve gone from relegation candidates to featuring in the Champions League and winning the League Cup at the end of last season (let’s not forget, Howe also took them to a League Cup final in 2023, but lost that one 2-0 against Manchester United). Simply put, Newcastle are on the up, and we think next season will be when Howe really takes things to the next level. At 5/4, Newcastle are an excellent bet to achieve Champions League qualification, especially now that Howe’s men have got the momentum of that League Cup win behind them. Don’t be surprised if Newcastle also go deep in the Champions League as well, having qualified via 5th place on the last day of the season.

✅ Sunderland Go Back Down: 1/3

It’s become something of a tradition in the Premier League for the newly promoted teams to go straight back down. We’ve seen it in back-to-back seasons now, with Leicester City, Ipswich, and Southampton all returning to the Championship at the end of the 2024-25 campaign. And of the promoted sides coming up for next season, Sunderland look by far the most likely to get relegated, whereas Leeds and Burnly at least have a fighting chance of staying up. The problem with Sunderland is that their squad is paper-thin and lacks any real Premier League quality, so using money from the Jobe Bellingham transfer will be absolutely key if they’re to have any chance of staying up at all.

✅ Manchester City Finish in the Top 2: 1/1

One thing for sure heading into the new Premier League is that Manchester City will bounce back in some shape or form. It can’t get any worse than it did last season, when City went on a bizarre losing streak, dropped out of the title race, but then somehow managed to claw back a 3rd-place finish right at the end. Despite that brief resurgence, though, some fans believe Pep’s number might finally be up after years of Premier League dominance (for the record, Guardiola has won 6 titles since 2016). Whether that’s true or not remains to be seen, but we’re confident Pep will at least pull off a top 2 finish now that he’s brought in Tijjani Reijnders, Rayan Cherki, and Rayan Aït‑Nouri, all of whom look like they’ll get City back on track next season.

✅ Tottenham Get Themselves Back in the Top 6: 6/4

Tottenham fans are (rightfully) not happy. Despite a shocking Premier League campaign last season, which saw Spurs finish just one spot above the relegation zone on 38 points, Ange Postecoglou somehow delivered on his promise of “always winning things in my second year” by dragging Tottenham to a Europa League trophy. It was the club’s first piece of silverware since 2008, but that didn’t change Daniel Levy’s mind: Ange had to be sacked. Former Brentford manager Thomas Frank has come in to replace him, which is sort of like strapping a miniature rocket to the player’s backs. The arrival of an incredibly energetic Frank should be enough to get Spurs back in the top 6, especially when you consider how well the club tends to perform whenever a new manager comes through the door.

When Does the 2025-26 Premier League Season Start?

The good news is the 2025-26 Premier League season officially kicks off on August 15, 2025. It will see Liverpool take on AFC Bournemouth at Anfield to get the ball rolling, with Sky Sports broadcasting this game (and most others) starting from next season. Liverpool will be looking to go all guns blazing, too, so we expect them to go on some type of winning streak between August and October. Arne Slot will be fired up and ready to go, that’s for sure — and you can bet Liverpool will be in-and-around the top of the table come Christmas time.

Summary

Everybody’s looking forward to the new Premier League campaign.

Once we make it through pre-season, the action will get started down at Anfield on August 15, with many expecting the upcoming season to be nothing short of a classic.

Will Liverpool win the league again? Can Manchester City return to glory? Is Mikel Arteta finally going to get Arsenal over the line after 5 trophyless seasons? And will any of the newly promoted sides be able to stay up? We’ll be sure to find out — so start placing your bets now and prepare for what looks set to be a great season of Premier League football.
