Arsenal v Aston Villa
After a strong finish to the season which saw them lose just one of their last 10 league games, Arsenal can be confident against an Aston Villa side that survived relegation by just one place. The Gunners smashed West Brom at the Emirates last week 4-1 as players made their bid for a place at Wembley, and they also did the double over Villa this term with two very convincing 3-0 and 5-0 wins. Aston Villa’s defeats against Southampton and Burnley ended their poor Premier League season after their survival was assured. Villa have also injury problems at the back – Ciaran Clark and Chris Herd are out, while both Kieran Richardson and Jonas Okore are doubtful. The goalkeeper Shay Given, having played every FA Cup this season could miss out with a groin strain.

Athletic Bilbao v Barcelona
Athletic Club are on a 7-match unbeaten run in all competitions, but they have some injury concerns as Ander Iturraspe, Iker Muniain and Jonás Ramalho are all out while Óscar De Marcos is suspended. Barcelona clinched the league title in relatively comfortable fashion with 12 wins and 2 draws in their final 14 matches and their progress to the final to the Champions League was also eye catching. Central to their success in both of those tournaments has been the return to form of Lionel Messi. The Blaugrana have the home advantage, given that the venue for the final is Camp Nou. The most recent meeting between the two sides saw Barca win an entertaining encounter at San Mames 5-2 in February.

Auxerre v PSG
Auxerre defeated just one top-flight team (Guingamp) on their way to the French Cup final and finished mid-table in the 2nd tier, 26 points behind champions Troyes. They are on a 7-match winless streak coming into the final. PSG, meanwhile, have won their last 11 domestic matches. Les Parisiens would become the first French side to win all 4 domestic competitions in a single season should they win on Saturday.
