Milan’s bright new dawn suffered a difficult start as new head coach Siniša Mihajlović saw the Rossoneri go down 2-0 at Fiorentina. Defender Rodrigo Ely received red card in 36 min of that game.
With the huge summer investment and the appointment of Mihajlović, the Rossoneri can regain their place in Serie A’s top–3. To do so, the hosts will need to brush aside the likes of Empoli.
Empoli still look to be adapting to the new management and the departure of some key players as they lost 3-1 to Chievo last week.
